John Datoy is a Filipino engineer, world yo-yo champion, and comedian from Nashville, TN, with roots in Fargo, ND. His tricks and jokes have been seen opening for comics such as Billy Gardell (Mike & Molly), Jared Freid (Netflix), Dustin Nickerson (Netflix by Kevin Hart), Aaron Weber (Nateland Podcast, CC, Don't Tell), and many others.

Recently, Datoy was a part of Nate Bargatze's Season 3 of "Nateland Presents: The Showcase," which is available on YouTube. He is a regular at Zanies - Nashville, one of the top clubs in the nation, and was a selected performer for 7 Comedy Festivals in the last 2 years, including the Loons on the Lake Comedy Competition, where he was a Top-5 finalist out of hundreds of comedians.

Now the yo-yo: Datoy is the youngest American to have won the World Yo-yo Championship, having accomplished that feat at the young age of 11-years old. He has performed on America's Got Talent, where he was a top-100 performer, and continues to entertain comedy clubs, theaters, schools, elderly communities, and churches across the nation. His tricks, combined with choreographed routines, and his life story full of jokes have made for a great show for people of all ages.
